I bought these boots after giving up on finding the right size of all my "first choice" boots. I looked a long time for brown boots that fit my budget. I was a little bit skeptical about the trim that runs all around these one, but when I received the boots my worries vanished. The color though is a real truffle color even the leather feels like it. The boots are a little large at the toe. The shaft felt very tight around the leg and at the ankle part. I had to wear them a couple of time before I felt really comfortable in them. If you are looking for more casual riding boots these fit the bill. I don't think you can dress them up especially for the brown color. Overall, these are a real quality leather riding boots especially for the price I paid for.
