 Poor quality not worth the price March 1, 2010

I purchased these boots, and like the look of them, but the suede is very thin and ripped at the top where they snap, and is wearing holes in the toes. Nice boot for a thin leg, but Chinese Laundry needs to improve the quality of their suede, especially at this price!

I've had these boots for about a year and already they are falling apart. I mean I love them and they have gotten quite a bit of wear in the colder months but I would have expected a bit more for the price. Luckily I got mine on sale so I'm not quite so disappointed.They look very cute and can be worn with almost anything. I have bigger calves and had no trouble pulling them on. I also thought they ran true to size.

If you buy these boots, don't expect anything really special. They're ok, and for the price they have now ($49), they're really not worth the price. I guess they would be cute for teenagers, they're just not for someone older like me. For teens, I would recommend, but not for anyone older.

these boots are very cute and they look great. however, they are made out of very cheap materials. there's also no zipper on the leg and it's rather small opening, so it makes getting your skinny leg jeans in quite difficult. the soles aren't very comfortable; just a thin flat basic sole. if the sizes didn't run so small, i'd have room to put in a nice insert for the sole.
so, to sum up: great looking shoes! wear them for a few hours and don't do a lot of walking. it might be good to get a half size larger than you normally would. the calf opening is quite small; don't get it if your legs are a little larger than petite or average.

Very difficult to pull on. The calf is tight if you have muscular lower legs. I would not recommend the boot if you are not very petite.
